Quality Materials
Many manufacturers purchase their steel based purely on
price. We purchase steel from select domestic mills capable
of producing materials to our exacting standards. We still
reject nearly 5% of the materials shipped to us.
One of the biggest quality features of our roofing products
is the gauge, or thickness, of the steel we use. There are
actually several standards for determining metal gauge. We
adhere to the strictest, the United States Standard Rev.
Because many other metal roofing suppliers choose to use
lower standards, Taylor Metal Product’s roofing can be up to
19% thicker than other manufacturer’s "same gauge."
Taylor Metal Products offers Kynar 500 in a wide range of
colors to compliment today’s homestyles. Fluoroceram Kynar
500 paint has a 70% resin base that provides the ultimate in
exterior durability and color retention under the most
extreme conditions.
Kynar 500® carries a 30-year paint warranty against fading,
chalking, chipping, cracking or peeling. Because the G-90
galvanized coating applied to our base steel prior to
painting is one and one-half times as thick as the common
G-90 coating, Taylor Metal Products is able to warrant its
Kynar 500 coated products against rust-through for 50 years.

Taylor Metal Products’ patented processes and machinery
allow us to create a superior roofing product for your home.
We use roll forming machines with 18-stations versus as few
as 6 with other manufacturers. Why is this important?
Forming metal gradually minimizes the strain on the material
and maximizes panel flatness.
Quality Design
Taylor Metal Products is known for two key design
advantages. Our patented zero-siphoning lock seam with
concealed fasteners is available on both our Easy Lock™
Standing Seam and Pacific Pattern™ Horizontal Panel
patterns. Our uniform, pre-slotted flanges ensure proper
installation of the panels and allow room for
expansion/contraction—an important point to avoid buckling.
This patented combination of innovative interlocking-panels
and the pre-slotted flanges creates a positive linkage of
panels, improving structural strength and allowing Taylor
Metal Products roofing to withstand winds of up to 140
M.P.H. Many other roofing systems use names similar to Easy
Lock™, but we strongly recommend a side-by-side product
comparison.
